Board Membership - Marketing &/or Development

Food Charity Network, Inc. (formerly Food Savers Corp) is a start-up non-profit software company working to develop a software platform to facilitate the establishment of hyper local food charity distribution networks. The platform, "Food Savers App", will aim to address food system inefficiencies by integrating data driven donations into an easy-to-use mobile application and desktop portal.

Mission Statement: Food Charity Network (FCN) works to address the inefficiencies in our food systems. We aim to make fresh produce more accessible to food charities by making food donations easier and more convenient than the option to waste food.

We are actively seeking board members to help us with Marketing and/or fundraising/development. We are currently in the testing phase of app development and are looking to work with qualified candidates willing to volunteer their time to help us get ready for launch. While this is a volunteer position, we would be happy to reciprocate the help with letters of reference or other forms of credit for your contributions. Previous board experience makes you a stronger candidate, but not a requirement. If you do have previous experience, please provide details in cover letter if its not included in your resume.

FCN has quarterly board meetings (4 times a year), we typically meet on Sunday’s from 8:00PM to 9:30PM (est.). Quorum is a majority (more than half) of the board.
