Volunteer Opportunity: Food Donation Pickup & Delivery
Organization: The Relief Route
Location: Mount Vernon and The Bronx, NY
The Relief Route is looking for a reliable and dedicated volunteer to assist with picking up food donations from our local donors in Mount Vernon and delivering them to shelters and food pantries throughout the Bronx.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Pick up donated food from participating donors in Mount Vernon, NY.
- Transport food donations safely to designated shelters and food pantries in the Bronx.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery times with our team.
- Ensure all donated food reaches its intended destination.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable transporting food donations.
- Must be able to travel between Mount Vernon and the Bronx.
Pickup Schedule:
- Pickups are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Delivery locations will be provided in advance.
- Volunteer availability can be coordinated with our team.
