Operations Partner & Co-Lead — Historic Black Cemetery Preservation

Cobb Bethel Cemetery Preservation is an active effort to document, protect, and preserve the historic Cobb Bethel A.M.E. Church Cemetery in southwest Atlanta—a sacred site holding generations of Black history and local heritage.

As a one-person operation moving fast on research, site documentation, and organizational outreach, I need a true Operations Partner and Co-Lead to work directly alongside me. If you want to bring fresh ideas to the table, share strategic ownership, and help execute the phone calls and follow-ups that keep this project moving, this role is for you.

WHAT WE WILL DO TOGETHER

• Strategic Thought Partnership: Join regular phone or Zoom check-ins to brainstorm, problem-solve, bounce ideas, and set priorities.
• Proactive Execution & Outreach: Share the load on key phone calls, emails, and follow-ups with partners, volunteers, and preservation professionals.
• Keep Momentum Going: Track open workstreams, clear bottlenecks, and make sure critical tasks don't stall.
