    Caris Healthcare is seeking dedicated individuals to become Bereavement Volunteers and provide essential support to families in their time of loss. Together, we can offer solace, compassion, and healing to those navigating the grieving process. Join us and become a vital source of comfort and connection!

    As a Bereavement Volunteer, you will undertake various tasks that extend empathy, reassurance, and resources to grieving families. Your commitment will involve making regular check-in calls, ensuring families know they are not forgotten, and their loved ones are remembered. You will offer a listening ear, a caring presence, and help link families to valuable resources that can aid their healing journey.

    • Bereavement Check-In Calls: Reach out to families, providing empathetic support and letting them know they are not alone. Your caring voice will offer comfort during a challenging time.
    • Listening Ear: Be there to lend a compassionate ear, allowing families to express their emotions, memories, and concerns. Your attentive presence will provide a safe space for them to share their grief.
    • Resource Connection: Assist families in accessing appropriate resources, such as support groups, counseling services, or educational materials. By offering guidance, you will help them find the tools needed for healing and growth.
