    Description

Free Clothing Event at Salvation Army Community Center in Renton, WA

Volunteers are needed for our upcoming Free Clothing Event. We are a pop-up clothing bank, which means we bring folding racks, bags of hung clothing, and lots of love to venues and host Free Clothing Events for those in need. Roles include: unloading the truck and setting up the event, putting clothes on racks throughout the event, door greeter, helping shoppers find clothing, bagging up their finds, and helping pack up the event at the end of the day.

It's a lot of fun, AND you get a really tangible way to help people find clothes that will not only keep them warm but also feel loved and empowered.

Note: This opportunity is "done in a day", but we host 2-3 of these a month, throughout Issaquah and Renton, so if you love it, there will be future opportunities for more volunteer time!
