Description
If you enjoy talking on the phone and have time to make a few calls, you may be a perfect Bereavement Telephone Assurance (BTAP) Volunteer.
VITAS BTAP volunteers make phone calls to bereaved family members after a hospice patient's death.
These short phone calls go a long way in making a difference in the lives of those coping with grief.
Use your compassion, your listening skills, and your time, enhanced by no-cost training and coaching from VITAS, to give back to your community and strengthen your resume. Hours are flexible and calls can be made from your dorm room, apartment, or home. For more information about VITAS Volunteer Services, visit: https://www.vitas.com/volunteer.
