    Volunteer Responsibilities

    Community Outreach Volunteer join us at health fairs, volunteer outreaches, and local senior homes to call bingo and or bring an activity to facility residents. Compaionship visits, birthday celebrations, music events and all other fun activities at local nursing homes and assisted livings.

    Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to Local hospice patients and their families.

    We are seeking volunteers who would be available to help with various Elara Caring Hospice events. This is a fun way to volunteer! Do you like to play BINGO, create a craft or lead a bible study? We need people like You to make a difference in our nursing home and assisted livings. Times and dates of events vary, though most occur during business hours.

    • Driver's License Needed
    • Background Check
    • Must be at least 16
    • Orientation or Training
    • Hours are very flexible! You can choose from weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Typically, we ask you to donate an hour of your time once a week.
