    Description

    Social Media Administrator (volunteer)

Tahoma Northwest is seeking 1 volunteer to create relevant content for our readers, report on analytics, and occasionally boost a post. We would like you to be experienced and passionate about helping bring our services to the community through social media. Experience with Canva (graphics) and a photo editor are a plus. Simply reply here and share about your interest, experience with Facebook, graphics and photo editing, and your availability.

Founded in 2011, Tahoma Northwest- previously Dad's MOVE started with 6 dedicated fathers who all have children with behavioral health challenges. These fathers all had a passionate belief in strong father involvement in their child’s lives and in the systems that serve them. We have grown from an all-volunteer organization to 4 paid staff, a small office in Washington, and are honored to be the Washington statewide family network for SAMHSA. In 2026 we expanded to provide services to whole families in our community as we know dads need support, and so do their families.

We are looking for people with backgrounds in organizational change, advertising, diversity, equity, and inclusion; law; marketing; finance; and/or fundraising. Tahoma Northwest needs volunteers who understand or have a lived experience that can inform our work in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Must be residing in the United States and send responses directly through Idealist- please no direct email.
