    Drive Change: Deliver Meals, Fight Hunger (New Brunswick)

    Volunteer Opportunity – Food Rescue and Delivery

    Share My Meals is seeking volunteers to help recover surplus meals and deliver them to those in need. Volunteers pick up meals from a professional kitchen in New Brunswick and deliver them to a nearby nonprofit organization serving individuals in need. The drive between locations is ~20-minutes and includes a quick stop to collect empty containers from the nonprofit before pickup.

    Please note: Volunteer opportunities occur on weekday mornings and afternoons. The schedule for this route is to be determined, but interested volunteers are encouraged to get started by completing our volunteer application.

    Volunteers must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle with insurance, and a smartphone for the tracking app. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting 20-30 lbs.

    Training and insulated bags are provided.
