Keep the Mission Running: Administrative & Operations Volunteer

Not every hero of a small nonprofit is on stage. Some keep the whole thing from falling apart behind the scenes. That's a real job, and it's open.

Invisible Warriors does a lot with a little. We're a national community for women veterans, running mobile and virtual since 2022 with no building and our in-person programs in Alabama, and the reason it holds together is good organization. That could be you.

What you'd actually be doing:

• Keep records, files, and contact lists clean and current
• Help schedule meetings, track follow-ups, and keep projects moving
• Draft and organize documents, forms, and simple reports
• Take recurring admin work off the founder's plate so more time goes to the women

Who we're looking for: you're organized to the point that other people rely on it. You're comfortable with email, docs, and spreadsheets, and you follow through without being chased. You don't need to be a veteran. Neither is our founder.

The commitment: a few steady hours a week, almost all remote. One honest ask: if you can't give it consistent time week to week, please don't apply. Admin work only helps if it's reliable, and half-done is often worse than not started.

Why it's worth your time: every hour you organize is an hour we spend on the women instead of the paperwork. It's quiet work, and it matters more than it looks.
