    Description

    Make a Difference as a Hospice Volunteer!

    Are you ready to bring comfort and companionship to those who need it most? Aegis Hospice is looking for passionate volunteers to join our mission throughout the Phoenix area. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few hours a month, your time can make a life-changing difference.

    Ways You Can Help

    • Provide companionship by sitting, reading, or chatting with patients.
    • Offer bereavement support to caregivers and families.
    • Help with administrative tasks or creative projects like scrapbooking and journaling.
    • Support fellow veterans as a Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer.
    • Share your skills through pet therapy, art enrichment, or music therapy.

    What We Offer

    • Comprehensive training on hospice care, grief support, and active listening.
    • Flexible volunteer schedules tailored to your availability.
    • The opportunity to touch lives and be part of a compassionate community.

    Requirements

    • Must be 18+ years old
    • Background check, current CPR certification, and negative TB screening required
