Volunteer Opportunity: Summer Sports, Crafts & STEM Mentors – Jackson Middle School
Operation Xcel’s mission is to empower and inspire youth by providing safe, supportive, and enriching environments where students can learn, grow, and thrive. Our Summer Program at Jackson Middle School offers students opportunities to stay active, explore creativity, and build new skills in a positive environment.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our summer programming in the following areas:
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist with training and/or practice for sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer, and football
- Lead or support engaging craft activities
- Help facilitate hands-on STEM enrichment activities
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Volunteer Requirements:
- Experience working with teenagers (middle school age)
- Background or skills in sports, crafts, and/or STEM
- Positive attitude and ability to serve as a strong role model
This is a great opportunity to mentor middle school students, encourage teamwork, and make a lasting impact during the summer months.
