Weekend Home for a Service Dog in Training

Looking for a furry friend for your weekends? Join our team of weekend dog companions who support our dogs in the advanced stages of the training program.

We are looking for committed and dedicated individuals to welcome a Paragon Service Dog in training into your home every weekend for about six months. You can spend your weekends with a well-trained, adorable dog and change the life of a person who is d/Deaf or hard of hearing.

• There is no financial commitment, and no prior dog training experience is needed. Paragon will give you all the tools, training, and supplies for a weekend stay. Training and ongoing support are provided.
• For the weekend program, you'll pick up your dog at our facility in Longmont on Thursday afternoon/evening drop them off on Monday morning.

A weekend dog companion's role is to maintain the dog's training, make observations of the dog, and provide a safe and loving home for their stay. In return, you get to have a wonderful dog companion for the weekend and support our mission of creating exceptional partnerships between dogs and handlers.
