    Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinator

    The Donovan’s Venom

Remote | HR Operations | Volunteer

We’re Building — And Transitions Must Be Done Right

    Every organization focuses on hiring.

But what defines the experience is how people enter — and how they exit.

The Donovan’s Venom is looking for an Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinator to manage the most critical transition points in the volunteer lifecycle.

    Because first impressions matter.

    And so do last ones.

    The Role

This role owns the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding experience, ensuring every transition is:

    ✔ Structured

    ✔ Complete

    ✔ Compliant

    ✔ Positive

You are not just coordinating tasks.

You are ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

    What You’ll Own

    Onboarding Execution

      • Ensure all documentation is completed and verified
      • Execute structured onboarding workflows

      • Deliver a seamless, welcoming onboarding experience
      • Coordinate orientation and early engagement
      • Ensure new volunteers are prepared and connected

      • Capture feedback and insights
      • Partner with HR to identify trends and improvements

    System & Record Management

      • Maintain accurate tracking of:
      • Start dates
      • End dates
      • Status changes
      • Ensure alignment across HR systems

    Communication & Coordination

      • Communicate clearly with volunteers throughout transitions
      • Coordinate across HR and leadership teams
      • Follow up to ensure completion of all steps

    Process Improvement

      • Identify gaps in onboarding/offboarding processes
      • Support development of standardized workflows
      • Help build scalable HR systems

    Who This Is For

      • Thrives in structure, process, and organization
      • Pays attention to the details others miss
      • Can manage multiple workflows at once
      • Understands that experience = process + execution
      • Follows through — every time
