    Description

Volunteer Event Support - Moose Hide Campaign

    Organization: Moose Hide Campaign

Event Date and Time: Thursday May 14th, 7am-4:00pm (shift times vary)

Event Details: The Moose Hide Campaign is hosting their Rally to End Violence on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 12pm in Queen's Park (111 Wellesley St. W., Toronto ON). This powerful community space is an invitation to individuals, families, and communities to come together in unity and take a visible stand against gender-based violence. It’s a time to raise our voices, honour our precious ones, and take steps toward a future free from violence. The event day includes a morning plenary for invited guests at the ROM, various watch parties across the University of Toronto, and the public rally at the Ontario Legislature Building in Queen's Park from 12pm-1:30pm.

Type of Position: In person, single day

Details of Volunteer Role: Volunteers will provide support with wayfinding/directions, greeting and event support during one of the following shift times:

    7am-11am

    11am-3pm

    12pm-4pm

There will be a virtual volunteer training call on Thursday May 7th at 7pm to provide more information about the event and the volunteer roles. It will be recorded and made available to those who are unable to attend live.

This is an unpaid, volunteer position, and we remind volunteers to be mindful about the sensitive nature of this event and encourage everyone to create a safe space for attendees and guests.
