Every role here matters and every team member helps us move closer to a world where every young person feels seen, supported, and capable of success.

Help Fuel Opportunities. Drive Impact. Change Lives.

    About the Role

At Restoring Our Youth Organization, our programs are powered by people who believe in creating real opportunities for youth. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a critical role in sustaining and expanding that impact.

This is more than planning events; it's about building meaningful relationships, inspiring generosity, and ensuring our programs continue to reach the youth who need them most. If you’re passionate about purpose-driven work and want to see the direct impact of your efforts, this role is for you.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead fundraising initiatives that directly support youth programs and community impact
    • Design and execute campaigns (digital, virtual, and in-person) that inspire donor engagement
    • Plan and host fundraising events that bring the community together around our mission
    • Build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
    • Manage donor communications with professionalism, gratitude, and consistency
    • Track fundraising progress and insights, helping leadership make data-informed decisions

    What You Bring

    • A passion for mission-driven work and making a measurable impact
    • Strong organization and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-moving environment
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • Comfort using tools like Google Suite, Excel, or a willingness to learn quickly
    • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, especially with sensitive information
    • Adaptability and collaboration — you thrive working with diverse teams and stakeholders
    • A growth mindset and desire to build experience in nonprofit fundraising or operations

    What Makes You Stand Out

    • Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, or nonprofit operations (a plus, not required)
    • Ability to confidently engage with community leaders, donors, and executive stakeholders
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict navigation skills
    • A proactive communicator who follows through and drives results

    Why Join R.O.Y.O.?

    • Be part of a mission-driven organization creating real change for youth
    • Gain hands-on experience in fundraising strategy, donor relations, and nonprofit operations
    • Work alongside passionate, purpose-driven leaders and volunteers
    • Build skills that translate to leadership, strategy, and community impact roles

    Our Commitment

We are grounded in our ROOTS values: Respect, Openness to Correction, Operational Excellence, Teamwork, and Striving for Success. We are looking for individuals who are aligned with our mission, vision, and commitment to serving youth with integrity and excellence.
