Addiction Recovery Meeting Host

The Humanity Preservation Foundation (HPF) is a registered 501c Not For Profit that focuses its efforts on helping those victimized by child abuse, domestic violence, and bullying with a heavy focus on educating for the prevention of the same horrific acts as well as providing an addiction/trauma recovery platform.

Our efforts include prevention education through online, social media and in schools and universities. Additionally we act as an intermediary to services for those that have been victimized - directing them to resources based on their individual circumstances. Likewise, the launch of our in-house, online recovery platform "Recovery Your Way" has allowed us to expand our reach further with helping those facing addiction as a coping mechanism to trauma. The primary focus is to help anyone pick up the pieces of their life through job coaching, resume writing or life skills development.

We are looking for volunteers that would like to host addiction recovery meetings as part of our newly launched recovery platform. We provide the zoom link so there is no expense and each meeting is 60 minutes. If you have a background in addiction recovery and working with individuals and/or you have a following of people you would like to be part of this we would like to hear from you.

EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR ANYONE CURRENTLY IN SCHOOL FOR THIS PROFESSION AS WELL AS ANYONE WITH AN EXISTING RECOVERY EFFORT BUT NO PLATFORM TO PURSUE IT!

What we ask of all our volunteers:

• We meet each Tuesday at 7:30pm (Eastern) via Zoom. We ask our volunteers to attend no less than 2 meetings per month which one would be the 3rd Tuesday of each month
• Volunteers can be part of the team on an ongoing basis and we seek individuals that wish to be part of our team for at least 6 months. If a volunteer chooses to move on we like to be provided a 2 week notice so we can plan accordingly
• Participate in our fundraising efforts
• As available (based on location) attend in person events and fundraisers
• Be part of sub-division efforts that can be based on generating awareness and/or fundraising campaign
