    About LoopRoots Foundation

LoopRoots Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening families and communities through transportation, housing stabilization, workforce development, survivor services, reentry support, and community-based programs.

We are launching a new Family Connections Program focused on supervised visitation, supervised exchanges, and family reunification support. We are seeking a founding volunteer leader to help build this program from the ground up.

    Position Overview

The Director of Family Connections Program Development will lead the design and implementation of LoopRoots Foundation's Family Connections Center. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone passionate about child welfare, family services, domestic violence prevention, trauma-informed care, and nonprofit program development.

Working closely with the Founder and Executive Director, the selected volunteer will help transform a comprehensive Product Requirements Document (PRD) into a fully operational, scalable program designed to serve families across multiple states.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead development of the Family Connections Program based on the PRD.
    • Research and document state requirements for Arizona, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and future expansion states.
    • Develop operational policies, procedures, and program manuals.
    • Create referral pathways with courts, attorneys, child welfare agencies, and community partners.
    • Assist with facility planning and child-friendly space design.
    • Develop intake procedures, documentation standards, and quality assurance measures.
    • Collaborate on Zoho CRM workflows and digital forms.
    • Assist with budgeting, grant opportunities, and program sustainability.
    • Recruit and support volunteers as the program grows.
    • Help prepare the program for future expansion into additional states.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in child welfare, family services, supervised visitation, social work, nonprofit leadership, family law, victim advocacy, or related fields.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent written communication and research abilities.
    • Experience developing programs, policies, or operational systems is preferred.
    • Passion for strengthening families and serving vulnerable communities.

    What You'll Help Build

This volunteer will play a key role in creating a nationally scalable Family Connections Program that will provide:

    • Supervised Visitation
    • Supervised Exchanges
    • Family Reunification Support
    • Transportation Assistance
    • Resource Navigation
    • Child-Friendly Family Connection Centers

    Why Volunteer With LoopRoots?

This is an opportunity to become a founding leader of a program that will directly impact families navigating some of life's most difficult circumstances. As the organization grows, there may be opportunities for future leadership roles as funding becomes available.
