Cooking Club Event at Salida del Sol

Salida del Sol is a unique, newly constructed mixed-use development that brings together a Permanent Supportive Housing community and the City of San Juan Capistrano’s new City Hall. To support our residents, Jamboree is launching a cooking club and will host an event on February 19, 2026. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring volunteers to assist our Resident Services Coordinator with this upcoming event.

Volunteer Responsibilities

🥕 Assist with cooking prep

🍳 Help with cooking during the event

🧽 Support with cleaning and wrap-up after the event

Volunteer Shift Available

📅 Thursday February 19, 2026

🕓 Volunteer Time: 12:50 PM to 03:30 PM

🎉 Event Time: 01:00PM to 03:15PM

✔️ Must be 16 years of age or older

COVID-19 Guidelines

Jamboree’s top priority is keeping residents, volunteers, employees, and their families safe and healthy. Please follow the guidelines below:

😷 Bring and wear a face mask during your entire shift (supplies are limited)

🌡️ Take your temperature before arriving — a fever is 100.4°F / 38°C or higher

🏠 Stay home if you have a fever, feel sick, or show any signs of COVID-19

⚠️ Volunteers who are well but have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or is awaiting diagnosis may not volunteer

😷 Masks must be worn throughout the entire shift
