    Description

    Executive Committee Member, Appalachian Mountain Club

    We are looking for people to join our Executive Committee! The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) Potomac Chapter is a part of the nonprofit AMC with 11 chapters from Virginia to Maine. The organization works on conservation issues, utilizes volunteer leaders to lead a variety of outdoor activities and trips from local walks to overnight backpacking to canoeing and kayaking, bicycling, trail maintenance, and other activities. We bring people together to enjoy the outdoors at any level of experience. Individuals and families can participate. We are looking for Activity Chairs to help coordinate our conservation efforts, outreach to families, outreach to affinity groups, and various other activity areas. We meet once/month online and coordinate a few Chapter-wide events during the year.
