    Description

    About the Role

Are you passionate about systemic change, mentorship, and youth leadership? The Macro Institute is seeking Fellowship Program Directors to help lead and anchor our upcoming youth advisory cohort.

Our fellows—ranging from medical students to tech innovators and future social workers—are working on actionable frameworks at the intersection of AI and Youth Mental Health. As a Program Director, you won't just be managing a schedule; you will be actively driving a policy movement by empowering the next generation of practitioners to move from micro-level work to macro-level policy development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cohort Coordination: Help manage communication, organize timelines, and ensure our 7 core fellows stay on track with their summer deliverables.
    • Resource Matching: Act as a bridge between the fellows, our executive team, and expert mentors to ensure students have the support they need.
    • Policy Strategy Support: Work alongside our Policy Director to help refine the templates, workshops, and final presentation briefs the fellows will deliver.
    • Movement Building: Keep the energy high and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and deeply impactful digital community space for our youth leaders.

    Who We Are Looking For

    • Individuals with strong organizational, project management, or leadership skills.
    • Backgrounds or strong interests in policy development, social work, education, or non-profit operations.
    • Natural community builders who know how to motivate and coordinate a team remotely.

    What You Will Gain

    • Leadership Portfolio: Take complete ownership of managing an elite cohort within a growing institute.
    • Professional Network: Build relationships with our leadership team, specialized mentors, and top-tier student practitioners.
    • References: Receive robust letters of recommendation and professional references detailing your managerial impact.
    • Funded Travel: May be eligible for travel opportunity to Washington, DC to assist with the in-person fellowship convening.
