    Description

    Reptiles, amphibians and social media

Things That Creep is looking for a Social Media & Communications Volunteer - work with gorgeous and photogenic reptiles and amphibians!

We are looking for volunteers with social media savvy, who are interested in education, conservation and herptiles (reptiles and amphibians). Desired skill sets include photography, graphic design, video editing, and/or general social media knowledge and skills.

What you’ll be doing: taking photo and videos of our live reptiles and amphibians at our facility in Castro Valley, then creating content remotely for various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and our email-newsletter.

This role involves coming in Wednesdays (weekly or every other week) for 2-4 hours (between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.) to create videos, posts, and other engaging content featuring our amazing animal ambassadors.

You need: transportation to and from our Castro Valley facility, your equipment (phone and/or camera, laptop, etc.)
