    Fallbrook Food Pantry Warehouse Assistant

    Fallbrook Food Pantry Warehouse Assistant (Volunteer Position)

    The Fallbrook Food Pantry (FFP) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to serving low-income families nutritious & healthy food, since 1991. We are currently seeking 1-3 volunteers that have warehouse experience and/or can lift and move at least 50 pounds easily and repeatedly.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist Warehouse Manager with pick-ups and deliveries

    Assist loading and unloading boxes of food from trucks

    Sort food items and allocate them to the market or stock area according to Pantry protocols

    Assist other volunteers with lifting/moving boxes and other tasks as needed

    Stocking warehouse

    Requirements:

    Able to commit to one or more of the following weekly volunteer work shifts:

    Mondays, 7:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.

    Tuesdays, 6:00a.m. – 1:30p.m.

    Wednesdays, 6:00a.m. – 1:30p.m.

    Able to lift and carry 50 pounds easily and frequently and repeatedly

    Compensation:

    This is a volunteer/unpaid position

    Successful candidate will be provided with one cart of groceries per shift
