It Takes A Village

We are seeking dependable, community-minded volunteers for It Takes a Village, a community event taking place at Fred Fletcher Park Amphitheatre in Raleigh, NC on June 27.

This event will include clothing giveaways, live music, food trucks, vendors, and community connection. We are looking for volunteers who are ready to help create a welcoming, organized, and joyful experience for everyone attending.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Help with event setup before the event begins
• Assist vendors and food trucks as they arrive and get settled
• Support the clothing giveaway area
• Welcome and direct guests throughout the event
• Help manage donation and raffle tables
• Monitor event flow and help keep areas organized
• Assist with cleanup and breakdown at the end of the event

Volunteer Schedule

• Setup: 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
• Event: 2:00 PM-8:00 PM
• Volunteers may be assigned full-event support or specific shifts.

Volunteer Requirements

• Must be reliable and arrive on time
• Must have a positive and respectful attitude
• Must be comfortable helping the public
• Must be willing to support where needed
• Must be able to work in an outdoor event setting
