    Empower Widows & Vulnerable Women in Tanzania

    About Us

    Amazing Grace Widows and Orphans Tanzania (AGWOT) is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting widows, orphans, vulnerable children, and girls at risk. We work closely with local leaders and communities to provide education support, basic needs, psychosocial care, and economic empowerment through programs such as VICOBA (Village Community Banks).

    Volunteer Role

    We are seeking passionate and committed volunteers to join our team in supporting widows and vulnerable women in Tanzania. Volunteers will play an important role in improving the lives of women and their families through community-based initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support widows through skills training and income-generating activities
    • Assist in organizing and facilitating VICOBA groups
    • Provide mentorship and emotional support to vulnerable women and girls
    • Help with education support programs for children and orphans
    • Participate in community outreach and awareness activities
    • Assist in fundraising, proposal writing, and social media (for remote volunteers)
    • Document activities through photos, reports, and storytelling

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Passion for helping vulnerable communities, especially women and children
    • Background or interest in social work, community development, education, or related fields
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Respect for local culture and willingness to learn
    • Ability to work independently and creatively
    • Experience in fundraising, teaching, counseling, or project support is an added advantage
