    Description

    ASERACARE HOSPICE, AN AMEDISYS COMPANY, SERVES EXTON, PA, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. BEING A COMPANIONSHIP VOLUNTEER FOR OUR PATIENTS IS A WONDERFULLY FULFILLING OPPORTUNITY. OUR PATIENTS ARE LOCATED IN HOMES AND FACILITIES IN CHESTER AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES.

    Amedisys Hospice gives patients who are facing a life-limiting illness the freedom to live ALL the days of their lives by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life. If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people’s lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:

    • THIS REQUEST IS FOR ANYONE WHO IS GIFTED MUSICALLY OR WHO LOVES MUSIC AND WOULD LIKE TO USE THEIR GIFT TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT OTHERS. THROUGH 1:1 COMPANIONSHIP VISITS WITH PATIENTS AT END-OF-LIFE AND/OR THEIR FAMILIES, WE USE THE POWER OF MUSIC TO ENCOURAGE, REMINISCE WITH, BRING RELAXATION TO, AND OTHERWISE BRING BEAUTY AND PEACE INTO WHAT CAN BE A CHALLENGING AND LONELY TIME. TRAINING PROVIDED!
