    Want to volunteer with ChiDEC? Currently our main activities are Engagement and Data/Reporting. Doughnut Economics has lots in common with: circular economy, new economy, degrowth, Green Deal 2.0, Wellbeing economy.     We are working towards change with regard to both social dimensions and ecological dimensions of the Chicago Donut:

    Social Dimensions: Food, Health, Education, Income & Work, Peace & Justice, Political Voice, Social Cohesion, Equality (equity),Housing, Connectivity & Transportation (connectivity), Energy, Water

    Ecological Dimensions: Climate Change, Ocean Acidification, Chemical Pollution, Air Pollution, Freshwater Use (freshwater disruption), Land Use (land conversion), Biodiversity, Ozone Depletion, Nitrogen & Phosphorus (nutrient pollution)

    Join us in learning about social shortfalls and ecological overshoots, or bring your expertise and help identify policy recommendations, and more.
