    Description

    The RISE Financial Empowerment Program

    The B.A.S.E. Foundation is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our RISE Financial Empowerment Program, a free five-week financial education program designed to help individuals and families build financial confidence, strengthen money management skills, and work toward greater financial stability.

    This program will take place on 5 Saturdays between July 25th and August 22nd. We are looking for 1-2 volunteers max for each Saturday.

    Volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience for participants while supporting program operations throughout the day.

    Volunteer Responsibilities

    • Assist with participant check-in and attendance tracking
    • Help set up and break down the meeting space
    • Distribute workbooks, materials, and refreshments
    • Welcome and direct participants as needed
    • Support facilitators during activities and discussions
    • Help create a positive, supportive, and judgment-free environment
    • Take photos and assist with event documentation (when appropriate)

    Qualifications

    • Friendly, dependable, and professional
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Comfortable interacting with diverse populations
    • Passion for community engagement and financial empowerment
    • Ability to lift and carry light program materials
    • Must be punctual and able to remain for the duration of the volunteer shift
