    Survey Coordinator - Execute Surveys of a Broad LGBTQ Arts Nonprofit

    If you like designing exacting surveys, reviewing results, and helping to drive impact from responses, this role is for you! You’ll collaborate with the DEIAB and Strategic Planning Committee to design, distribute, and synthesize surveys. Content will be reviewed and approved in advance so you can work on your own time to create and collaborate on distribution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and launch surveys in SurveyMonkey
    • Plan timing; coordinate reminders to boost responses
    • Analyze results; create summaries and simple charts
    • Maintain an organized archive of past instruments and findings

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Survey Coordinator works closely with the DEIAB Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee to design, implement, and analyze surveys that inform organizational strategy and equity initiatives. This role ensures that survey results are reported at monthly committee meetings and supports data-driven decision-making. The Coordinator manages all survey activities using SurveyMonkey software and collaborates with staff to distribute survey links and send reminders to increase response rates.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborates with the DEIAB and Strategic Planning Committee to identify survey objectives and timelines.
    • Designs and distributes surveys using SurveyMonkey.
    • Coordinates with staff to distribute survey links.
    • Monitors response rates and follows up with staff to boost engagement.
    • Maintains survey archives and ensures compliance with privacy and data protection standards.
    • Provides guidance on best practices for survey design and interpretation.

    SUPPORT PROVIDED

    • Access to SurveyMonkey account and training resources.
    • Templates for survey design and reporting.
    • Guidance from the Director of Administration and committee chairs.
    • Staff support for survey distribution and outreach.

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

    • Familiarity with SurveyMonkey or similar survey platforms.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract insights.
    • Ability to create clear, concise reports and visualizations.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple surveys and deadlines.
