    Show Producer

    Location: Atlanta, GA

The Show Producer is responsible for bringing creative productions from concept through execution. This volunteer role serves as the central coordinator across creative, production, technical, talent, and operational teams to ensure each show is well-planned, organized, engaging, and delivered successfully.

The Show Producer will help shape the production vision, develop schedules and workflows, coordinate contributors, manage production details, anticipate issues, and keep everyone aligned from pre-production through final delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, highly organized producer who enjoys building something from the ground up and turning ideas into polished experiences.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead the planning and execution of shows, productions, recordings, livestreams, events, or related creative projects.
    • Translate creative concepts into clear production plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Coordinate across creative, video, audio, technical, marketing, talent, and project teams.
    • Develop and manage production schedules, run-of-show documents, timelines, and checklists.
    • Coordinate hosts, performers, speakers, guests, production staff, and other contributors.
    • Lead production meetings and ensure team members understand responsibilities, deadlines, and expectations.
    • Manage rehearsals, production logistics, technical requirements, and day-of-show execution.
    • Partner with writers, directors, designers, editors, and other creative contributors to bring concepts to life.
    • Identify production risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks before they affect delivery.
    • Maintain strong communication across teams and provide regular production status updates.
    • Ensure creative assets, scripts, graphics, video, audio, and other materials are ready when needed.
    • Troubleshoot issues during rehearsals and live or recorded productions.
    • Support post-production activities, including editing coordination, content review, approvals, and final delivery.
    • Establish repeatable production processes, templates, workflows, and documentation as the function grows.
    • Conduct post-production reviews and identify opportunities to improve future shows.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in show production, video production, live events, digital media, entertainment, broadcasting, content production, or a related field.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces, contributors, and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Comfortable working with creative and technical teams.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain organized when plans change.
    • Experience developing production schedules, run-of-show documents, and project plans.
    • Ability to take a concept and build the structure needed to execute it.
    • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a growing organization.
    • Pluses:
      • Experience producing livestreams, video series, digital shows, podcasts, educational programming, entertainment content, or events.
      • Experience working with distributed or remote production teams.
      • Familiarity with video, audio, streaming, editing, or production technologies.
      • Experience building production processes within a startup, nonprofit, media, or early-stage environment.

    What Success Looks Like

The Show Producer creates the structure that allows great creative work to happen. Productions are organized, contributors know what they need to do, deadlines are visible, risks are addressed early, and each show moves smoothly from idea → planning → production → final delivery.
