    Description

    Do you like meeting new people and learning form others past experiences? Do you have a knack for making others happy and brighten their day ? You do feel called to make a difference and give back to others. If so become a hospice volunteer today !

    Hospice volunteers provide companionship, emotional support and socialization to members of the community who elderly, sick and in need of support.

    Hospice volunteers help to brighten a person's day, provide life review and memory collection with patients and their family members, assist with light household duties, help with craft activities, play games watch movies and TV shows, look at pictures and help fulfill a patient's wishes.

    Being a hospice volunteer does not require a lot of your time, but it completely makes a difference in the life of patients we serve. Many volunteer's visit are as little as 30 minutes per week or two and go on as long as you you desire.
