Description
Temple of Seven Inc., through our flagship initiative Seven’s Love Foundation, is a faith-inspired non-profit organization dedicated to direct street-level hunger relief, basic needs distribution, and youth mentorship across Queens, NY. We are seeking committed, vision-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the strategic expansion of our community programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide governance, strategic direction, and leadership oversight for Temple of Seven Inc.
- Assist in developing fundraising strategies, securing community partnerships, and identifying grant opportunities.
- Ensure financial integrity, legal compliance, and alignment with organizational mission and values.
- Attend bi-monthly board meetings (virtual/hybrid) and actively participate in committee work or organizational initiatives.
- Act as an ambassador for the organization, advocating for our mission within your personal and professional networks.
Qualifications:
- Passion for food security, community development, and uplifting vulnerable populations in NYC.
- Background or interest in areas such as non-profit management, finance/accounting, law, fundraising, marketing, or community organizing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative decision-making skills.
- Commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per month.
