Description
We are seeking an experienced electrician to volunteer their skills to help maintain and enhance our exhibits and facility. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and wants to make a direct impact on children’s learning experiences.
Volunteer role:
- Upgrade electrical systems in exhibit spaces
- Support interactive displays (buttons, lights, motion-activated features, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and child-safe design
- Retrofit existing fluorescent light fixtures to LED
Time Commitment
- Flexible hours based on projects
- Occasional availability for urgent fixes is helpful
