    Description

    We are seeking an experienced electrician to volunteer their skills to help maintain and enhance our exhibits and facility. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and wants to make a direct impact on children’s learning experiences.

    Volunteer role:

      • Upgrade electrical systems in exhibit spaces
      • Support interactive displays (buttons, lights, motion-activated features, etc.)
      • Troubleshoot electrical issues
      • Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and child-safe design
      • Retrofit existing fluorescent light fixtures to LED

    Time Commitment

      • Flexible hours based on projects
      • Occasional availability for urgent fixes is helpful
