Food Drive Volunteer

We have a program that provides bags of food items for food-insecure children at local schools every weekend. This food insures they have something to eat over the weekend when they are not at school getting school meals. We are holding a food drive at Sam's Club on 9/5, 9/6 and 9/13 to collect some of the items that we put in these bags. The more food we collect, the more children we can feed. We are asking for volunteers to take a shift where they will stand in front of the store and ask customers to purchase items off a list for us. Volunteers will be outside, standing and need to be willing to approach customers and ask them to purchase items. Children under 13 can volunteer when accompanied by an adult. We also need people willing to drive food items to our warehouse (nearby). Those volunteers must be able to load and unload food items and drive a short distance.
