Corporate Groups: Care Kit Packing - Hunger Free America

Sign up now for a care kit-packing volunteer session, where the volunteering is at your office!

During this 1 hour hands-on team activity, your group will assemble kits with snacks and toys for kids and families, as well as write uplifting hand-written messages. These kits will be directly given to the thousands of families and mothers who enroll in SNAP and WIC with Hunger Free America’s assistance. You'll receive background information, training, and more information on how life-saving food assistance is for American families.

Please note that we only offer this in-office session for companies located in either Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, or Queens. If you would like to book a virtual care kit event outside of these locations, please reach out to our Strategic Volunteerism Programs Director, Lindsay (lwatts@hungerfreeamerica.org) and we can organize an opportunity for your team anywhere in the US virtually, where we will introduce and guide the session for you via Zoom.

This group opportunity is perfect for any company or organization looking to volunteer! Our maximum group capacity is typically around 25 volunteers, but can be flexible to accommodate your needs. Additionally, we request a monetary donation for our time spent organizing and hosting the session at your office, which also supports our work at Hunger Free America. Materials for the event and shipping are additional costs, to be provided by your company.
