Innervision - Who We Are and What We Do
Innervision is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1994 by Johnnie Johnson and Wayne Turner, both blind African American individuals with an extensive 25-plus year background in radio and television personality work, broadcasting, and the performing arts. The founders of Innervision have received local, regional, and national recognition for their work helping blind minorities from low-income communities along the Colorado Front Range gain exposure to, be trained in, and establish careers in the radio and electronic media industry.
Going Forward, the Strategic Intent of Innervision is:
By 2026, Innervision will have enabled all blind, minority youth-ages 14-25-in low-income communities along the Colorado Front Range with a burning desire to become a radio or podcast personality to have the opportunity to turn that passion into reality.

The cornerstone of Innervision’s action plan to accomplish this Strategic Intent is through a four-step process aimed at our critical target audiences, entitled Project 2025 and Beyond.
