    Description

    The Volunteer Assistant works under the Volunteer Manager and helps promote Rukundo International and meet all volunteer’s needs. The Volunteer Assistant will help delegate tasks and work closely with the Volunteer Manager and be a liaison with the Team Members.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Orientation to all new volunteers
    • Send out monthly prayer email.
    • Send out birthday cards.
    • Send thank you “gifts”/encouragement.
    • Record volunteer hours and check in/orientation at events.
    • Assist Volunteer Manager with other tasks, as needed

    Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a week

    Role Commitment: 1 year

    This role is expected to be generally accessible to the Director of Human Resources, as well as other Functional Directors, and responsive to emails.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Organized
    • Articulate
    • Competent with MS office applications
    • Ability to work in a group
