Volunteer Opportunities:
1/ Patient Care Volunteer: visits patient/families 1 x week for respite, companionship, socialization ministry of presence and supportive presence
2/ Administrative Volunteer: Assist with office tasks, make phone calls, assist with mailings, and hospice promoting. Celebrating Birthdays.
3/ Bereavement Volunteer: Once a patient passes, with direction from the Bereavement Coordinator, making phone calls and/or visiting our bereaved families. Also, assists in preparation and participation in our Memorial Services 2 x month
4/ Pet Peace of Mind Volunteers: our patients who have dogs and/or cats that have no one to take care of their 4-legged children…we assist in re-homing the pet
5/ GIFT Volunteer: Grace in Final Transition, provides 3-to-4-hour shifts to our patients when they are in their final few days
6/ Pampered Hands Volunteer: Providing manicures and pedicures to patients, both men and women
7/ End of Life Doula Volunteer: Must have completed a certification course in End-of-Life Doulas. Provides more in-depth guidance and support to patients/families during their end-of-life journey
8/ We Honor Veterans Volunteer: This is our We Honor Veterans program where Veteran volunteers visit with Veteran patients.
9/ CareTaker Volunteer: Provide light housecleaning, yard maintenence and household chores to the frail elderly
