    Description

    Help Build Community Through Art

Art for All is excited to expand our Art for All Abilities (AfAA) program with the addition of Artisans' Workshop, a new weekly workshop that will meet each Wednesday at the studio located at 152 Commonwealth Ave, in West Concord. Beginning this September.

As our program continues to grow, we're looking for a dedicated and organized individual to serve as the Art for All Abilities Liaison. This role is ideal for a family member, volunteer, or community member who enjoys connecting people, supporting inclusive programming, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

    Position Summary

The AfAA Liaison will report to our Program Manager, and will serve as a communication bridge between AfAA teachers, volunteers, participants' families, and Art for All administration. By helping coordinate information and supporting special events, this person will play an important role in ensuring the success of the program.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate communication between the AfAA teachers, volunteers, families, and Art for All administration.
    • Attend one AfAA planning or coordination meeting each month at the studio.
    • Help coordinate AfAA participation in several annual community events, including:
      • Minute Man March
      • Brighter Together Lantern Parade
      • Patriot's Day Parade
      • Spring Fling
    • Assist with recruiting and coordinating volunteers for AfAA activities and events, as needed.
    • Communicate updates, reminders, and logistical information to the appropriate individuals.
    • Help identify opportunities to strengthen communication and participant engagement.

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 4–6 hours per month
    • One in-person meeting each month on a Tuesday afternoon at the Art for All studio
    • Additional time as needed leading up to annual events

    Ideal Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

    • Organized and dependable
    • A strong communicator
    • Comfortable coordinating with multiple people by email and phone
    • Supportive of Art for All's mission of inclusive arts programming
    • Able to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and families

Experience working with people with disabilities is welcomed but not required.

To share your interest or ask questions in this opportunity, please email Margot Kimball and Roberta Visconti. We look forward to hearing from you!
