    Description

    Great Board Members Wanted
    • * Board members need to be local to Lincoln Park, Michigan 48146

Love farmers markets? Love local foods?

Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market is seeking interested parties to join the Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market board. Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market manages and coordinates Lincoln Park Farmers Market, a seasonal Sunday outdoor farmers market.

The Lincoln Park Farmers Market has been a community asset, since 2007, providing a boost to the local economy, a place to socialize and, of course, a location to pick up fresh produce, specialty foods and handmade craft items. Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market, formed in 2012, is a 501c3 non-profit.

The dedication of this group of volunteers makes the market possible. We have both immediate and future openings of the board. Enthusiasm and dedication are more important than specific skill sets. We’re a pretty hands-on board so there is a variety of ways for Directors to contribute.
