Greater IMPACT Church is a Christ-centered ministry committed to sharing the love, truth, and transforming power of Jesus Christ. We are building a faith-filled community and seek skilled professionals who want to make a lasting impact by serving the mission of the church. Volunteer Ministry Workers are valued partners whose professional knowledge strengthens our ministry infrastructure.

    Engagement Overview

The Discipleship Pastor provides spiritual and operational leadership for Greater IMPACT Church's discipleship ministries, with primary responsibility for Anchor Groups and IMPACT Groups. This role maintains effective ministry structures, develops biblically grounded materials, equips leaders, and helps participants experience a consistent, Christ-centered path of spiritual growth in our church community.

    Scope of Services

    • Maintain the structure, schedule, learning pathway, and operating standards for Anchor Groups.
    • Develop, organize, review, and update biblically grounded curricula, facilitator guides, participant resources, and related Anchor Group materials.
    • Coordinate class readiness, facilitator assignments, participant communication, and follow-up so Anchor Groups operate consistently and effectively.
    • Maintain an accurate roster of IMPACT Group Leaders and oversee their onboarding, orientation, and ministry readiness.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, training, resources, encouragement, and problem-solving support to IMPACT Group Leaders.
    • Gather participation information and leader feedback, identify ministry needs, and recommend improvements to the church's discipleship systems.
    • Partner with pastoral and ministry leaders to ensure discipleship content and practices align with Scripture, church doctrine, mission, and ministry priorities.

    Professional Qualifications

    • A mature, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a life of integrity and prayer, and commitment to Greater IMPACT Church's statement of faith, mission, values, and leadership.
    • Demonstrated experience in discipleship, small-group leadership, teaching, curriculum development, or ministry leadership.
    • Ability to interpret and apply Scripture responsibly and translate biblical truth into clear, practical learning materials.
    • Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to maintain schedules, resources, and leader records.
    • Relational leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and support volunteer leaders, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and complete required screening, training, and confidentiality commitments.
