Description
Habitat ReStore Donation Hotline helpers coordinate material donation pickups and drop-offs at the ReStores in Dane County. We are looking for help on Wednesdays!
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and interact with donors in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Assist donors by answering screening questions about potential donations.
- Log all donor interactions.
- Respond to and compose emails for donors.
Qualifications
- Ability to work on a computer for 4 hours of time.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow directions.
Commitment
- One shift per week, or every other week, for a minimum of 3 months.
- Shifts run from 9am–1pm, Wednesdays.
- We ask that volunteers commit to volunteering for a full shift.
Training
New volunteers train with the Donations staff under the direction of the ReStore VP.
