Volunteer Roles
We offer a variety of meaningful ways to contribute:
- Companionship Volunteers – Visit patients to provide conversation, reading, music, or a calming presence.
- Family Support Volunteers – Offer respite for caregivers so they can take breaks.
- Administrative Volunteers – Help in the office with clerical tasks, phone calls, and organization.
- Special Talent Volunteers – Share skills such as music, art, pet therapy, or crafting to bring joy to patients.
- Bereavement Support Volunteers – Assist our team in providing comfort to families after a loved one’s passing.
Requirements
- Compassion, reliability, and a desire to serve others.
- Completion of hospice volunteer training provided by our agency.
- Background check (required by Medicare regulations).
- Commitment: as little as 2–4 hours per month, flexible to your schedule.
