    Description

Docents and Greeters: Help Keep History Alive by Telling Her Story

If you have an outgoing personality, we need your help on the front lines to give a warm Aloha to visitors coming to learn about the history of Mighty Mo! Please also check out our other opportunities on our website

    • You will be stationed outdoors at the entrance area, standing or walking around to interact with visitors
    • You will answer basic questions about the Battleship and giving directions
    • You'll be telling them about Chuck the Iguana-- the Battleship's mascot. You'll let families with kids 4-12 years old know about the scavenger hunt!
    • If you enjoy speaking with people and have the ability to communicate clearly, please join our welcome crew!
    • Prior experience with public speaking and/or education would be great but not required
    • We request a commitment of once a week at a set day of your choosing
    • Ford Island base access is a plus but not required. See shuttle info here
