    Description

Recreational Therapy Volunteer (Senior Behavioral Health)

The Marian Center is looking for compassionate and dependable volunteers to support our recreational therapy program!

Volunteers play a meaningful role in creating moments of connection, joy and comfort for our patients. You'll spend time engaging with patients though activities like arts and crafts, card games, socializing, and other therapeutic activities that support emotional well-being and social connection.

We hope to find volunteers interested in a long term opportunity. An ideal time commitment would be about one hour per week, or one hour every other week. Volunteers are required to complete a background check, and get a TB test (both will be provided at no cost) as well as a short orientation. Volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer on the unit.

If you're looking for a way to give back, connect with others, and make a genuine difference in someone's day, we would love to have you join us!
