    Description

Make a Difference in Your Community — Volunteer at the Habitat ReStore!

Looking for a fun, hands-on way to give back, meet new people, and make a positive impact? Join the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity ReStore team!

The ReStore is more than just a store — it’s a place where donated items find a second life while helping support affordable housing and stronger communities. Every donation sorted, every item organized, and every customer helped plays an important role in advancing Habitat’s mission.

Whether you’re looking to complete service hours, bring a group together, learn new skills, or simply spend time helping others, there’s a place for you at the ReStore!

    What You’ll Do

As a ReStore volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for customers while supporting daily store operations. Volunteer activities may include:

    • Greeting and assisting customers
    • Processing sales
    • Sorting, organizing, cleaning, and displaying donated merchandise
    • Helping prepare furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials for sale
    • Assisting with donation appointments
    • Keeping the store clean, organized, and inviting
    • Helping with special projects, seasonal activities, and team tasks

    Who Can Volunteer?

Everyone is welcome! We love working with individuals, families, student groups, youth groups, clubs, teams, businesses, and community organizations.

No previous experience is needed — just bring a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a desire to make a difference. Whether you enjoy working with people, organizing, building, creating, or staying active, there’s a way for you to contribute!

    Why Volunteer?

When you volunteer at the ReStore, you’ll:

    • Support affordable housing efforts in your community
    • Help reduce waste by giving donated items a second life
    • Meet new people and become part of a team
    • Build teamwork, communication, and hands-on skills
    • Feel the satisfaction of knowing your time is making a difference

Every hour you give helps us continue serving our community. Whether you volunteer for a few hours, a day, or on a regular basis, your contribution matters.

Grab your friends, bring your group, and join Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity ReStore in making a difference — one donation, one project, and one neighbor at a time!
