Overview
Join Q’s Ministry / BHITS in a versatile administrative, organizational, and documentation-focused volunteer role that supports our spiritual, educational, research, and community programs. These roles are particularly helpful for international students on OPT, STEM-OPT, or CPT that align naturally with dozens of academic majors due to their emphasis on operations, information management, documentation systems, organizational processes, data handling, and communication.
Volunteers may choose one role or combine all three, depending on interest and academic alignment.
Roles Included
⭐ 1. Administrative Assistant / Office Clerk
- Organize files, shelves, books, supplies, and digital materials
- Data entry and light reporting
- Prepare folders, labels, packets, and forms
- Maintain orderly workspaces
- Assist with emails, small projects, and logistics
⭐ 2. Records Manager / Document Specialist
- Arrange, categorize, and label digital/physical records
- Build and maintain document systems and archives
- Help design record-retention structures
- Ensure files are retrievable, standardized, and secure
- Improve consistency across office systems
⭐ 3. Meeting Note-Taker (Meeting Support)
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings (flexible)
- Capture key decisions, tasks, and timelines
- Prepare clear formatted summaries
- Distribute notes to team leads
