Description
ACG Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals and those called to the sacred work of supporting patients and families at end-of-life in St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri. Bring comfort, calm and companionship to the bedside.
If you feel called to hold sacred space at life’s closing, this volunteer role offers a chance to bring presence, peace, and comfort in the final chapters of life.
As a Vigil or Companionship Volunteer, you may:
- Sit vigil and provide calm, compassionate companionship
- Offer guided imagery, meditation, or gentle music
- Support families with legacy work, storytelling, or life review
- Create a peaceful atmosphere through presence and care
