kidscommons Haunted Museum

Volunteers will help bring kidscommons’ Haunted Museum to life by assisting throughout our Halloween walkthrough maze experience. Volunteers may be stationed throughout the maze to hand out candy, welcome and guide guests, help with crowd flow, and create a fun and festive atmosphere for children and families.

Volunteers should be friendly, dependable, comfortable interacting with children and families, and able to follow directions from kidscommons staff. Costumes or themed roles may be provided depending on the volunteer assignment. No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities may include:

• Handing out candy to guests as they move through the walkthrough
• Helping direct guests through the maze and keeping groups moving safely
• Staying at an assigned station throughout the event
• Creating a welcoming, fun, and age-appropriate Halloween experience
• Assisting kidscommons staff with basic event needs as requested

Volunteers will receive instructions and their assigned role before the event begins.
