Description
Do you have a green thumb or a passion for making things look beautiful? Join us at the Brisben Center and help us transform our space into a vibrant and welcoming home.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with a variety of outdoor projects focused on gardening, landscaping, and general beautification. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands dirty, enjoy the fresh air and bring brightness to the residents of the shelter.
As a volunteer, you might be involved in:
- Landscaping: Assisting with light landscaping tasks such as raking leaves, spreading mulch, pulling weeds or potentially planting flowers, small shrubs, or trees.
- Beautification: Helping with general tidying up, painting fences, arranging planters, and contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.
- Gardening: Helping with weeding and maintaining existing garden beds.
We highly encourage bringing supplies such as flowers, seeds or more specific tools you may want to specifically use. We can provide the other basics!
